What to Use For a portable Water Purification system

The quality and quantity of the water we drink have a dramatic succeed on our health. One of the problems we have with drinking adequate water is as a community we are all the time on the go, and quality water is not easily available. What I mean by quality water is non-contaminated water. To have a constant supply of good water on the go, let's look at a transported water purification system.

One such ideas would be a water filter pitcher. Most of these filter 40 to 64 ounces of water, but some are bigger, development them more cumbersome to handle. There are varied shapes, mostly made to fit on refrigerator door or shelf space. You may not be inclined to grab it as you go out the door so you can have water with you as you are driving down the road, but it is still transported and would work if it were the only thing you had ready in a transported water purification system.

Refrigerators

A best option would be a filtered water bottle as many habitancy call them. Both the bottle and the pitcher use carbon for the filtering system, and filter out a number of contaminates including mercury, lead, chlorine, copper, and others. You'll need to read the spec sheets to be sure what all they filter out.

I was surprised when one model I checked on, said it removed the chlorine taste and odor. I emailed the firm and asked if it also removed the chlorine and I was told they would check to see if they had a filter that would meet my specifications. A few days later they got back to me telling me they couldn't be of additional help to me, so I am assuming that meant the filter didn't remove the chlorine.

Removing the odor and the taste of chlorine is good, but for me it wasn't enough. Here is what biologist/chemist Dr. Herbert Schwartz writes, "Putting chlorine in drinking water is like beginning a time bomb. Cancer, heart trouble, premature senility, both thinking and bodily contributions attributable to chlorine, treated water supplies." There are numerous other statements similar to this one from other experts, so ask questions about what is filtered out of the water if you are in question.

The most coarse way habitancy drink water when they are out and about is bottled water. I wouldn't call this a transported water purification system, but most habitancy believe the bottled water they drink is purified water. This may or may not be the case. 60% to 70% of bottled water is bottled and sold within the same state, to avoid federal regulations, so we have no way of knowing if it is safer than tap water or not.

So if you are looking for transported water purification ideas grab the filtered sports water bottle, or filter your own with a home water purifier and put it in your own bottle to take along.
